Characterized by the dominance of a few players, the Nepali market back then had yet to warm up to the imported brands that were steeped in design and promised a better quality of life. That was also a time where changes in lifestyle became perceptible in Nepal and international brands from all over the world forayed into the country; wheels of that can be termed as “design renaissance” were set in motion.
